Entry is by invitation only and is predicated on exemplary performance in the AIO. If you were not invited but feel that you should be invited, please contact us.
If you are not an Australian student, please contact your national informatics program.
Please refer to the rules page for more information.
The AIIO and FARIO are run as partially open book exams. You may bring whatever printed/written notes, textbooks, or any other non-electronic resources they wish. You are also allowed to access language reference material. The allowed sites are cppreference.com and cplusplus.com.
You are forbidden from accessing electronic notes, even if they are saved offline. This includes any code saved on your computer.
Unlike in the AIO, the only allowed language is C++.
See the “Scoring” section of the AIO rules.
To ensure the integrity of the competition, you cannot not discuss the competition or its problems before those dates (including your score or how easy/hard you found the competition).
Please refer to the individual contest pages in the sidebar.
